Wiessmeyer Violins is noted for high quality repairs and maintenance services including:
Sound adjustments
Seam repairs
Crack repairs
Varnish retouch
Cleaning & polishing
Other repairs are available upon request and evaluation.
Repair estimates are $35. Examination of the instrument must be done in person.
The $35 fee can be deducted from the cost of the repair.

consignments
Only instruments purchased from Paul Wiessmeyer can be returned as a trade-in for an upgrade or to be sold on consignment. All consignment sales are subject to a 20-50% commission.
Appraisals
It is recommended to have an instrument appraised for insurance purposes or prior to selling. Paul Wiessmeyer brings many years of experience and in-depth knowledge of the market to his appraisals of violins, violas, and cellos. Most verbal appraisals cost $35 USD. Written insurance appraisal letters cost $145 USD.
