After an 18-month hiatus, Olivier Perot and Paul Wiessmeyer, in conjunction with the UNH Craftsmanship Institute, are pleased to announce that the next violin varnish retouch seminar will be held on the Durham campus of UNH August 5, 6, 7 2019 in Durham, New Hampshire.
Many past participants have contacted us with words of praise for the quality and quantity of information provided and the open and direct manner in which the seminar is instructed. No doubt, several past participants will attend again this year.
Our goal is, in three days, to impart a good understanding of basic retouch principles and techniques as well as the confidence and ability to retouch on your own once back home.
Enrollment is strictly limited to 10 participants per class.

Highlights of this class include:
A practical course developed to pass on a time proven methodical approach to retouching that yields good results in a time efficient manner.
All retouch materials including pigments, brushes, varnishes, retouch objects etc. are supplied.
Each student has a well equipped work station with good lighting
Detailed technical and theory instruction including demonstrations
Two instructors for lots of one on one coaching. This is a “hands on” seminar.
A “Retouch Only” seminar… no woodworking
